Aqua Cooler M11 Drinking Fountain: Specs, Prices and Buying Guide
Share
The Aqua Cooler M11 is a chilled drinking fountain for Australian schools, councils and workplaces. It combines a bubbler and a bottle filler in one free-standing unit. Here is everything you need to know before you buy.
What is the Aqua Cooler M11?
The M11 is the free-standing model in the Aqua Cooler M Series. It is a mains-connected, refrigerated drinking fountain with two outlets: a bubbler for drinking and a bottle filler for topping up drink bottles. Because so many people now carry a bottle, the bottle filler is a big part of its appeal.

Filtered or unfiltered?
The filtered M11 has a built-in filter that improves taste and reduces sediment and chlorine. It uses the Aqua Cooler Z-8110 cartridge, which we stock as a replacement filter and as a full filter kit. Choose the unfiltered version if your site already has filtration upstream.
Powdercoat or stainless steel?
All finishes have the same performance. Stainless steel suits corridors, foyers and commercial interiors. The white and grey powdercoat finishes are the lower-cost options and look smart in schools, modern buildings and outdoor areas.
Can the M11 go outside?
Yes. The M11 is IP33 rated and Aqua Cooler rates it for outdoor and uncovered use. For parks and sports grounds, also look at the Australian-made Aqua Cooler SU650, which is built specifically for outdoor use.
What does installation need?
The M11 needs a 1/2-inch mains water connection (100 to 700 kPa), a 40 mm drain with a waste trap (the trap is not supplied), a power point and 75 mm clearance at each side. A licensed plumber is recommended. See our installation checklist, or call us anytime on 0414 602 800 and we'll talk you through it before you order.
M11 vs Waterworks RM33 Blizzard
Both are chilled, free-standing fountains. The Waterworks RM33 Blizzard has a rust-proof rota-moulded cabinet and chills up to 30 litres an hour, which makes it popular on construction sites and mines, though it needs to be installed under cover. The M11 has a sleeker steel finish and a dedicated bottle filler, which suits schools, offices and public buildings. Read our drinking fountain vs water bubbler guide for more help choosing.
